SURF THE SOUTH COAST
Where to fill your Empty Esky while surfing the NSW South Coast.
DAY 1: SYDNEY TO KIAMA
Take the scenic route from Sydney along Sir Lawrence Hargraves Drive.
Check out the North end of Bombo Beach on the way down to Kiama.
Grab a coffee, walk to the Blow Hole and check the surf at Surf Beach.
Pick up some supplies from the local deli (we recommend Otis Deli) and head to Boneyard Beach for a picnic, longboard or snorkel
Local winery for an arvo vino – Crooked River Wines or Stoic Brewing for a refreshing beer.
Dinner at Encore Wine Bar and Grill.
DAY 2: SURF TOP SPOTS
North Swell – Werri Beach and point but needs a South Wind
North Winds which out the North end of Bombo Beach or South Swell Werri Beach or Jones Beach
Head into Kiama Surf beach – very different type of wave here shorter left-hand wedge super fun when it’s on – great bodyboard wave.
If there is only a small wave Bombo picks up all the swell.
Please always respect the local surfers and spread out while you are surfing. If you see a break is crowded please try and find a wave away from the pack.
If needing any surf hardware during your weekend, drop into Zink Surf Kiama or Natural Necessity Gerringong.
